Principal's Message

I hope you all had a wonderful summer filled with fun and relaxation. As we embark on this new school year, I am thrilled to see our campus and classrooms buzzing with energy and excitement once again.

This school year, let’s focus on making every day count. Great school attendance is the foundation of a successful academic journey for our students. When the students are here, they are learning, growing, and building memories that will last a lifetime. Every day they attend school, they are taking a step towards achieving their dreams and goals.

Remember, each one of you is an important part of our school community. Your presence matters, and together, we can make this year the best one yet. Let’s support each other, embrace new challenges, and celebrate our achievements.

Here’s to a fantastic school year filled with learning, laughter, and lots of success. Let’s make every day a great day to be a Rough Rider!

Your Principal,

Mr. Flores

Big Smiles - Dental Care

Hanford Elementary has partnered with Big Smiles to offer in-school dental care.  Simply complete the permission form or go to www.myschooldentist.com to sign up your child.

There may be no cost to you if your child is insured with Medi-Cal.  Private insurance and self-pay options are also available.

Our in-school dental program saves you time and provides a safe and comfortable place for your child to receive gentle dental care from licensed, local professionals.  Dental care includes a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when necessary, and in some cases, restorative care such as fillings.

By having your child see the in-school dentist, you can help reduce the risk of:

  • Early tooth loss caused by dental decay
  • Gum disease
  • Heart disease
  • Impaired speech development

Taking care of your child's teeth is an important part of keeping them healthy.

Permission Form for service can be completed at www.myschooldentist.com
